European School Sports Day celebrated at Cim Elementary School

The KINEZIS association, as the coordinator of the “European School Sports Day” for Bosnia and Herzegovina, supported an exciting school sports competition at Cim Elementary School as part of the “European Week of Sport,” under the guidance of physical education teacher Ivana Džidić.

The program included competitions between students in futsal and dodgeball. The highlight was definitely the volleyball match between teachers and students.

Prof. Dr. Franjo Lovrić, president of KINEZIS, particularly emphasized the importance of school sports as the foundation for developing an active and healthy society, as well as future athletes.

Together, we show that sport is not just physical activity, but a powerful tool for creating a society based on respect, equality, and inclusion — which means that school sports should have room for all children, not just the talented ones.

Lovrić also added that they are proud the event was recognized and supported by EUPEA – the European Physical Education Association, as well as through the “Game Changers” project, which promotes inclusion, equality, and social cohesion through sport, funded by the European Union.
