Today, Zrinjevac Park was filled with energy and joy – as many as 350 children took part in the unforgettable Monte Kids Festival, organized by the Healthy Life – KINEZIS Association!

The central event was the “Monte Kids Race”, which took place in the spirit of sport, fun, and inclusivity. Children ran with smiles on their faces, cheered on by parents and friends, while the course echoed with laughter and applause!

What made this race special? Everyone was a winner! There were no rankings, no first or last places – because the message of the festival is clear: every child deserves a chance to move, compete, and have fun, without the pressure of results.

Every child received a medal and gifts from sponsors – a token of recognition for their effort, courage, and team spirit! For many, it was their very first race – and all of them proudly crossed the finish line!

After the race, the excitement continued with a performance by the Mostar Puppet Theatre, while the park was full of additional activities: long jump, tug-of-war, face painting, and of course – the always-popular crêpes from LaBomba!

This event is part of Mostar MOVE Week, a part of the European NowWeMOVE campaign, which is held across Europe to promote physical activity and a healthy lifestyle among children and youth.
