Mostar Run Weekend is held annually and organized by the association Zdrav život – KINEZIS. Businesspeople, youth, retirees, families, and all layers of society participate in Mostar Run Weekend, which is the central recreational event in Mostar and one of the largest in Bosnia and Herzegovina, attracting significant media and public attention. The event is socially responsible in all its aspects, raising awareness across all social groups.

Although primarily a sports event, Mostar Run Weekend also encompasses EDUCATION (through the organization of a professional conference), TOURISM (participants come from over 50 countries worldwide), and CULTURE (the race route passes by the city’s cultural landmarks), making it an interdisciplinary and socially responsible project.

No Elevators Day

“No Elevators Day” is an annual global event held on the last Wednesday of April across Europe. This initiative was launched by ISCA – the International Sport and Culture Association to simply raise awareness about the importance of physical activity by encouraging people to choose stairs over elevators in their daily lives as a first step toward developing healthy habits and an active lifestyle.

The association Zdrav život KINEZIS, as the project coordinator for Bosnia and Herzegovina, organized an exciting race on the most famous stairs in Mostar.

The race, organized by KINEZIS with the support of the Students’ Center Mostar and the Citizens’ Association Bijeli Brijeg, takes place at the Velike stepenice (Big Stairs) in Mostar, where participants conquer 112 steps in an elimination format – with parallel starts and dynamic duels in both male and female categories.

The goal of the event is to raise awareness about the importance of movement and physical activity in everyday life through a symbolic message: choose the stairs instead of the elevator.

Monte kids race

The association Zdrav život – KINEZIS, as part of the project “Movement Against Addiction,” is organizing the “Monte Race for Kids.” The race takes place in Zrinjevac Park and is a circular course with a distance of 400 meters. This is just one of the activities by the KINEZIS association aimed at promoting the importance of physical exercise among children and developing habits of an active lifestyle, which will definitely be important during their growth and in preventing unwanted behaviors.
